What services do you offer?
I offer personal training and nutrition coaching services. Each personal training session is customized to the client and their fitness goals. Sessions and workout plans include a combination of strength training, flexibility, and endurance/cardio exercises. Nutritional services can include a meal plan, macronutrient targets, and caloric intake. I utilize the fitness app Trainerize to provide clients with a space to log meals, create habits, and complete workouts.
Do you offer in-person, online, or hybrid training?
I offer all of these options. Please reach out if you would like online only training.
What qualifications or certifications do you have?
I am a nationally accredited NCCPT-Certified Personal Trainer. I am also an International Sports Science Association (ISSA) certified Nutritionist.
Do you specialize in any specific type of training?
I specialize in weight loss, body recomp, and muscle gain for women.
Do you offer group classes or only one-on-one sessions?
I am able to provide group fitness services of 2 or 3 individuals. Please reach out for group fitness pricing.
What should I expect in my first session?
Prior to our first sessions, each client will fill out liability waiver and health history questionnaire. This will determine how our first session will be designed. All sessions are an hour and will include a warm up, strength training session, and a cool down/cardio session.
Where do sessions take place and what equipment do I need to bring?
Session location is based on client preference. If the client does not have a gym membership, we will train at Crunch Fitness in Amarillo, TX. There is no additional cost to training with me at this location. If the client has a fitness club they prefer, they will be required to pay for any day passes to bring a guest. The only thing the client needs to bring is a positive attitude :)
How do you tailor programs to individual goals?
Upon booking a program with me, we will complete a health consultation. During this consultation, we will discuss your current fitness and eating habits. I will be interested in learning more about your habits, such as how often you workout, how often you eat and what type of meals, how much time you sleep each night, and what your goals are. From this information, and more, I will build a sustainable workout and lifestyle plan for you to maintain. Each client will have premium access to Trainerize fitness app to track meals, habits, water intake, and complete workouts weekly.
What makes your training different than other programs?
I think every trainer has a different approach to how they train and motivate clients, and they are all valid in their own right. I approach fitness from a perspective that we only get one body in our lifetime, and we must cherish it inside and out. I have struggled with disordered eating, obesity, health scares, and low self-esteem majority of my life. It is nothing short of God's grace that I am a personal trainer now and I approach fitness with this conviction in mind. I do not take the impact I have on a client's life for granted, and I am empowered by helping others. Whether that be building confidence in their body, losing body fat, or improving strength and flexibility. No matter the goal my client has, I take it as my personal responsibility to help them reach it.
